Ekpatri kalakar Parishad Maharashtra performed a tribute to a Legend of marathi theatre - Natashreshtha Balgandharva , on the occassion of his 135th birthday.Some of our members performed 'Ashtanayika' ( Eight leading female characters ) performed by Natshrestha Balgandharva.The concept of this program was designed by Anupama Kulkarni.Sanjay Gosavi directed as well as compered the show.The characters played in the show were...Bhamini ( Manapaman) , Devyani ( Vidyaharan), Subhadra ( Saubhadra), Rukmini ( Swayamvar), Sindhu ( Ekach Pyala), Draupadi(Draupadi), Revati(Sanshaykallol), Kanhopatra (Kanhopatra).

A Activity: Mahotsav Ekpatricha

Ekpatri Kalakar Parishad Maharashtra organised a special event called " Mahotsav Ekpatricha" . The event was specially designed to motivate Parishad's new members. Many of our new as well as old members participated in the program. They performed " ekpatri acts" and " Kathakathan ". The event was in the form of an internal competition too. The event was in the form of competition too. The winners are Priya Unde, Smita Kulkarni and Neelima Pathak. The new members among the participants appreciated the program and mentioned that the event encouraged them and now they will look for performing Ekpatri acts in future.

A Activity: Artist of The Year 2023

The title is awarded to an EKP member who performs highest number of Ekpatri acts throughout the year. The title goes to Kalpana Deshpande. She is the "Artist of The Year 2023" of EKP Maharashtra.

A Activity: Katha Kathan Karyashala (Story Telling Workshop)

Ekpatri Kalakar Parishad Maharashtra organised a story telling workshop of 2 days. Senior Ekpatri artist Shri Ashok Murudkar and Professor Vandana Acharya directed everyone to the path of Story telling art. Shri Ashok Murudkar is known for his comic sense in story telling and Pro Achrya is famous for her presentation of mysterious, thriller stories. Both the mentors gave very important tips to all their students. The workshop was very well appreciated by the young members.
